Docky Fix or Alternative?
Happy New Year! I was interested in using Docky as an app launcher, and it worked pretty well most of the time, but then I realized it would not allow me to pin EVERY program to the dock. It seems if you install a program manually, you cannot pin it to the doc. Does anyone know how I can get around this? I'm open to using another launcher/dock also. Mainly, I just want all of my programs to have their appropriate icon and be dockable. Ideas?
Thanks.

Try the plank dock. Plank is very nice, lightweight and it does pin every application, manually installed or whatever.
I remember this issue with docky btw and I remember I managed to find a solution to it, but for the life of me I can not remember what was it.
cheers
When I was a Corsario, my Spaniard prisoners walk the plank.
When I was a Pirate, my Spaniard Prisoners they plunge to their deaths by docky their necks, while their severe heads rolled out to the sea.
When I was a Buccaneer, my English prisoners we used to pin their ears to the wooden planks.
I managed to find a solution to it, but for the life of me, I can not remember what was it.
Plank doesn't seem to be acknowledged by the FSF. Is it still actively developed?
