DuckDuckGo not suitable for RuNet.
It gives overmuch irrelevant results.

DuckDuckGo interestiong to me only because of the lack of effect "filter bubble".
It looks like DuckDuckGo is the only search engine without effect of "filter bubble".
What should I do? Any ideas?

I don't know if you already know but if you are using DDG with cookies you can set DDG to give relevant results to specific region (country).
I can't say the service is comparable to Google's bubble but is something, at least for my country.

I need balance. I don't want "filter bubble".
But I also want some relevant search results.

I don't think Startpage has a filter bubble, unless I'm missing something. If they don't track you (which Startpage doesn't, as far as I'm aware), there isn't even a technical way to implement a filter bubble.

Are you sure?

Cookies and other technologies of tracking only help improve relevance of search queries, because of personalization. But even without personalization , filter bubble is possible.

Just imagine the situation:
You are learning biology. You are found hard question in the textbook and decided to find right answer from author of the textbook. Because of this, you are googled. Google found relevant answer and you keep it in mind.
But you don't even suspect that there is another perspective on the same issue.
Somewhere on the Internet is a creationist article on the same subject, for example. The creationist may be wrong.
But if you read this article, then your knowledge is likely to become deeper, and you will know weak and obscure places of the theory.

Are you writing in Cyrillic or some transcription into the Latin alphabet? DuckDuckGo takes into account the accents in Latin languages (what I consider a positive point). I assume it takes into account the Cyrillic alphabet too.

I'm writing in Cyrillic without any accents.

What do you mean by irrelevant results? I'm Russian speaking too, I tried setting the region to Russia in DuckDuckGo and searched for stuff and it all came up how I would expect it. What irrelevant results do you get?

Sometimes DuckDuckGo gives me only irrelevant trash.
Sometimes DuckDuckGo don't gives me ANY results.
It seems that it's search database have only small part of RuNet.

Only for example, search query "ватикан - рай для педофилов":
https://duckduckgo.com/?t=trisquel&q="ватикан+-+рай+для+педофилов"
https://encrypted.google.com/search?hl=en&q="ватикан - рай для педофилов"

otvety.google.ru is quite popular in the RuNet.
Result of this query discovers bad indexation of some popular russian sites by DuckDuckGo.

I use DuckDuckGo by default but if the results suck, I go in the DDG search box, press a space after the last letter, type !s and hit enter to use Startpage. Of course I can just use Startpage from the start, but I like the bang feature of DDG.

If you want the best search results under a powerful engine (currently Google), then use Startpage under SSL: https://www.startpage.com. It is Google's search results minus the data and IP tracking. They even have image and video searching as well.

!ru should give only russian webpages?

DuckDuckGo does not localize pages by default. Startpage does localize by checking the browser language.

To localize DDG you can use cookies. You said you don't like them, so you have another option and it is to install a custom search URL from the mycroft project:

http://mycroftproject.com/search-engines.html?name=duckduckgo

You can find this page by clicking in the search logo in the search bar -> manage search engines -> add more searches
