Hi, I am new to using trisquel, and i bought an engenius eub9707 usb wifi adapter for my trisquel partition. Well, when i plug the usb adapter into my computer the led on the adapter lights up. Although when i look at the network options it show that the device is not ready. I am wanting to know how would I install the drivers on trisquel? The cd that came with it isn't really helping me to much on getting it to work. Has anyone else used this kind of usb wifi adapter?

It's going to be dependent on non-free software.

The only N chipset that is free software friendly is the AR9170 and the AR9271. The AR9170 is only available from us (libre.thinkpenguin.com) these days and the AR9271 isn't yet supported out of the box in Trisquel (it's coming though).

Stick with RTL8187B, RTL8187L, and the RTL8187 for now. Our Wireless G USB Adapter will work out of the box and work well with Trisquel 6 and uses the RTL8187B chipset.

Trisquel gets 25% of the profits from the above web site.
