External disk not mounted at booting
When i connect my external hard drive to the computer before or even while booting, it doesn't get mounted and i don't see how to mount it afterwards. I'm sure there's a way to do that via command line, but i wonder why it doesn't work automatically.
In dconf's section org.gnome.desktop.media-handling automount is set.
If you have multiple USB ports, try another one. You might have different versions of USB ports, the newer ones deliver more juice. Do any leds on the drive light up? I believe it should auto mount. Or at least become visible in Nautilus (=the file browser).
Sorry, the cable was not 100% plugged into the hard disk! Its LED lit up immediately after plugging it into the computer, though.
