Forum policies for proprietary software recommendations and/or instructions?
I'm quite new to these forums, so I apologize if this has been discussed before.
What are the policies of the Trisquel forum regarding recommendations and/or tutorials for installing proprietary software on Trisquel?
Is this the responsibility of a moderator?
Do any guidelines exist for forum members to read in this regard?
This post is referent to a post I was reading on the Spanish version of the forum, where a user recommends and provides a tutorial and link to a tutorial on installing Adobe Flash on Trisquel:

Thanks.

I see. Thanks. It would be nice if those kinds of tutorials could be deleted.
It probably can. Try to convince david to do so.
Thanks, I will try.
I am, in principle, completely against censorship.
However, those kinds of tutorials just seem to defeat the whole purpose of free software, Trisquel and this forum. If someone wants to run proprietary software on Trisquel it is a personal choice.
It seems to me whoever wants to do so should at least go to another forum to hand out tutorials. A bit of an extension to the idea of not giving the option for proprietary PPA's on Trisquel. People can still add them if they wish, but not with the help of the distribution.

Exactly, so not censorship - as you say they're free to do it on their own elsewhere. This is just asking that people not use the distro's infrastructure to work against our own goals.
Yes :)
