"Free Software eBay"
Hi everyone.
I recently was able to restore a laptop computer, using only components that run totally free software - and, can now decently run Trisquel on a good computer. But, for several reasons, I'm thinking on selling this laptop, and doing the same on a desktop, instead.
So, possibly wanting to sell this laptop, that can run only Free Software in it, except for the BIOS, I was thinking that maybe it would be better to try to sell it first to people who are sensitive to this particular ideological/freedom-related subject.
So, my question is: Is there any kind of eBay website/service, specifically for people who are sensitive to the Free Software ideology?
Forgive me for suggesting this but hitting the road and going to a 'real' market might lead to profits.
Does Craigslist exist where you live? It's not an auction, but things can be sold on it. As far as I can tell, it requires no Javascript to post ads.
how much btw? just wondering.

If that's for me, and a question about the price...
I'm thinking on selling it as close as possible to 150€ (since that it has a new hard drive and memory).
And, concerning Bitcoin forums,
Thank you for your suggestion. But, besides Freedom, I care a lot about Privacy also. So, I won't dare to go into such forums.
The Bitcoin network records every transaction made. And, with a cryptographic hash function designed by the NSA, that well-informed people know that the latter can break. It's the antitheses of Privacy, the construction of a very important element of a Police State, and a much more insecure way of storing your money. So, I wouldn't want to have anything to do with such network.
Bitcoin is not anonymous, but it's a lot closer to anonymity than credit card transactions... you're going to have to sell it to someone near you for cash if you want anonymity.

there are those in bitcoin that want to have your id with your bitcoin
address, all those dam corporate people. there are people making
protections that enable you to use bitcoin like cash, anonymous style.

i don't know about it being a insecure way of storing money but i'm not
knowable about crypto.
if the state/corporate people have there way they it would become..
unattractive to say the least.
I guess not.
Thank you for your answers, davidnotcoulthard and ssdclickofdeath.
I'm an experienced eBay, and the likes, user. And, there's a Portuguese version of OLX in which a lot of people sell computers, that unfortunately uses Java to post ads. But, the desktop computer that I still use, with a component that requires proprietary software, has a not-so-Freedom-oriented GNU/Linux distro running in it, with Java installed, that I can still use on those sites.
(I've just found out that there's a Portuguese version of "Craigslist" also, but it's one that almost no one uses...)
It's just that, if there was a place with people looking for the specific type of computer that I have, me going to such kind of market first, would make it easier for me to sell the laptop with Trisquel (/"no Windows") installed in it, and for such possible buyers to find and acquire this specific type of item also.

Could you give us the brand and model of the laptop, type of mother board, type of processor? and the components that run your free software.?
What kind of bios version is using?
