Hi!

I've installed Trisquel 3.5RC... it's really fantastic! Everything works fine! I have only one suggestion: I think you should include gnash 0.8.7 in the stable release (if it is possible)

We've discussed this previously. It was decided that swfdec still has a slight advantage over Gnash in terms of compatibility, and it doesn't require an external API like OpenGL to run. Although, its advantage will disappear very soon since it doesn't appear to be maintained anymore.

Ok but one can uninstall swfdec and install Gnash, as I did. I was asking to update, if possible, the version of Gnash in the trisquel repository. The current repository version is the 0.8.6 while the last gnash version is the 0.8.7.

Anyway I think that gnash >= 0.8.5 works better than swfdec.

You could add this to your 3rd-party software sources: https://launchpad.net/~gnash/+archive/ppa?field.series_filter=karmic

Or you can install it from a .deb: http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/g/gnash/

Trisquel's versions follow the versions that are in Ubuntu, which is Karmic for Trisquel 3.5. This is to prevent confusion.
