Hello! How do I go about installing the Gnome Desktop manager instead of KDE. I've installed, using synaptic, the basic Gnome and OpenBox package. When I log out then in with the GDM I get a pop up window saying the session lasted less than ten seconds, then reverts to the login screen. Thanks in advance!

Very strange? Gnome-desktop is the default desktop. How did you do to
have a KDE desktop?

-Well, I don't know! The release is 3.0 (dwynn)/kernel 2.6.28-15 generic. Downloaded from The Trisquel website.

Then you are already using GNOME. Don't let the single panel fool you! :-)

Ahhhh. Well. I'll have to do some more reading! I've used OpenBox/Gnome on gNewsense and was able to switch desktops with the mouse. I'll so some digging. Thanks for the help!
