Certainly, amazing news. Although is still very inmature, looks good. The question is whether we could carry this to Trisquel, would be perfect.

This is good, if it works. We'd have Unity 2D and Gnome Shell 2 D as
options. This assumes Unity is available to the whole GNU/Linux
community, not Ubuntu-specific.

To be honest, I am hoping future Trisquel releases have themes compatible with Unity 2D since that is my preferred desktop environment. I know everyone is gung ho about Gnome Shell, but that is not going to stop me from purging it out.
