Guitar to .mpv or. ogg to midi to sheet music?
A year ago I started playing guitar again after a long hiatus. I am successfully recording using audacity and can add tracks. Just for grins I am uploading one of my latest tunes. Would be fun to see if anyone wants to add to it.
Ultimately I want to be able to send sheet music to friends and family members. Has anyone cracked this problem. I have downloaded just about all the tools I found recommended such as lilypond and rosegarden, sonicvisualizer and ardour6 just to name a few. I also have an electric piano with midi in and midi out.
What would be best to achieve my goal would be to record the guitar and convert it to sheet music since I'm not real fluent in writing music notation. May have to apply myself there though as it seems to be impossible to do what I want.
Any ideas?
Most of my tunes are a little to big but this one I was able to compress enough.

Any tips on improving the recording quality would be nice too.
You use TuxGuitar programme?
I do not have that one. I'll read up on it.

grosbidepoilu,
Thanks for sharing that, you are on another level from me. That is a real pretty 'morsel'. Is that your composition? Can you use a program to transcribe it to sheet music or have to do it manually? I'm playing with tuxguitar some today.
