Jeff Moe was the first janitor, followed by Alexandre Oliva. Here's to many more years of powering our devices with 100% free software.

Cheers! This is an anniversary worth celebrating. And I love 16's - such a perfectly elegant number, a square of a square.

Hence an even more elegant number when written in binary: 10000.

Isn't hexadecimal even better here?

Indeed, it is 10.

I'm thinking our society would be perfect if we used the hexadecimal system for everything rather than the decimal system. I would be 18 years younger in hexadecimal, so there are some decided advantages. In binary I would be over 100,000 years older, so not so good.
