Hi there! I don't think there's a way to do it in software. Just remove the BIOS/CMOS battery for 5 minutes. Note that this wipes all BIOS settings as well.
The battery is one way. But you can also try changing the jumper. Read your Mainboard manual and follow it. Not every mainboard can be reset by removing the battery or changing the jumper. Some mainboards needs both, one after another and viceversa, etc. Generally, removing the battery is OK.
There are programs to change the password. About 12 years ago I used one thru Windows and worked. But I haven't need that again so I don't know about that kind of software now. I just follow motherboard instructions.
