I went to Mandy's lab to do some experiments. We ordered lunch from a restaurant and Mandy paid the bill for lunch. I said that I would pay the bill for dinner.
When we finished afternoon's experiments, we ordered dinner from another restaurant. Mandy said that it was my turn to pay the bill. I took a ten-thousand-yen bill (Fukuzawa Yukichi), and the deliverer didn't have enough changes, so Mandy paid the bill again. I promised her that I'd bring some changes next time.
However, I'm afraid that she won't spent Christmas Eve with me any more...
I think you should be cooking for her next time.

Good idea. I'm very interested in cooking.
However, the first problem is whether she'd like to go to my house after these accidents. It's too dangerous to cook in my or her biochemistry lab. A few milligrams of certain substance kills us all.

That said, lore has it that someone inadvertently helped discovering penicillin by messily eating a cheese sandwich in their lab, thus spreading penicillium over random Petri dishes.
