Home Server Mother Board Recommendation?

looking for a efficient (to the point where it's fanless) computer with
lots and lots of sata and ram, 4gb min, 6gb or maybe 8gb ram I'm
thinking of using.

I guess to get lots of sata the only way to go is x86 and so dam intel
as they have free graphics but evil bois :( booo!.

6 sata ports min and the more usb's the better :).

the more efficient/eco the better.

tried to browser intels website but it's a awful maze, urrgh.

so what are you/friend using or recommend or keywords to help me search
-like processor/chipset range-.

btw enough 3d grapics for gnome-shell would be nice :)
hope this doesn't get awful costly but on the other hand if it saves on
the electricity bill or environment then it's worth it.
