I just upgraded Trisquel to the newest version.
Can someone please tell me how to disable this annoying voice describing everything I click on?
What is that even good for? I don't understand what the purpose for it is.

It's an accessibility feature for blind people. Disable it in the system settings.

Trisquel automatically enables it if the live CD is booted and recieves no input.

I see. What is it called exactly? I can't find anything like that in system settings.

Thanks. Found it. Now I understand why it can be very important for some.

On the login greeter, I think there is a menu for accessibility options, one of which is 'screen reader'. Turn it off, here, if your login screen is talking, and you don't want this. In login greeter, you can use CTRL+S to toggle speech. Everywhere else, you can use ALT+SUPER+S to toggle the screen reader.

Very nice feature that default has blind accessibility.
