After the removing Trisquel my windows MBR is emotionally damaged. Possible changes in MBR made by Trisquel installation,or possible remains of Grub in MBR has led my windows unstable, not to leave out frequently disconnected WiFi after the removal of Trisquel.

Is this the price windows users have to pay for giving Trisquel a try?
How to clean the mess left by Trisquel?

There is no relation. The code in the MBR is responsible for booting an
OS or a second level bootloader, nothing else. If your WiFi is
frequently disconnecting it is purely coincidental.

Installed Trisquel 5.5 side by side with Windows XP and it works perfectly. However, Windows will not boot now. I can access all of my windows partirtion files through the Trisquel Linux but cannot boot windows. Starts to boot then goes to blue screen with message A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. etc.

Any help out there

Quoting from a MajorGeeks post with the same error:
Run Chkdsk /f /r to detect and resolve any file corruption. You must restart your PC before the disk scan begins . If you cannot start the system due to the error, use the Recovery Console and run Chkdsk /r

(You should also have a Windows XP disk handy to repair any of those missing files)

Hope this helps.

Please, we are needed of some information.

a) Which version of Windows?
b) Specify "unstable".
c) There's no relation between your WiFi and an deleted/not-in-use Operating System. Specify a little more about your disconnection problem. It can be a Windows problem or a hardware problem of your computer or the one that gives you WiFi.

Also, you can try Trisquel using the Live-CD which does not alters your system in any way.
I think there's an option not to install Grub in the MBR and, ven though, dual booting.

BTW, Windows problems belongs to Windows or its programs not to Linux.

Windows 7 hast 2 partition, one is hidden made for booting and having the privative license control.
Windows 8 has more. As I see, you installed the GNU/linux bootloader in the wrong partition.

YOU INSTALLED TRISQUEL IN THE WRONG WAY. IT'S NOT GNU/LINUX TRISQUEL OR GRUB FAULT.

Hi Masipay,
I'll try and help you as that is what community is about.

I had this problem previously and used something like this from the Ubunutu forums:

Hey, I just fixed the same problem on my pc. Here is a step by step guide that should work for you.

1. Insert and boot from your recovery disk.
2. Set your language options, and then Click on Repair your computer.
3. It should detect your windows 7 installation. Select your installation and click next.
4. Click on the Command Prompt option.
5. Type in "diskpart" to load the windows partition editor.
6. Type in the following commands:

list disk
select disk 0
list partition
select partition 1
active
exit

Here, the command "list disk" will list all of the hard disks attached to your computer. "select disk 0" will tell diskpart what disk to select. You need to substitute 0 with the disk that contains your windows installation. "list partition" will list all the partitions on the selected disk. "select partition 1" will tell diskpart what partition to use. You will need to replace 1 with the 100 mb partition that contains your windows boot loader. "active" will make the selected partition on the selected disk the active boot partition. "exit" will exit diskpart.

7. Back in the command prompt window, type in

bootrec.exe /fixmbr
bootrec.exe /fixboot
bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd

These commands will place the windows boot loader back into the MBR and boot sector of your hard drive. the rebuildbcd switch will re-detect your windows installations, and add the appropriate entries to the windows boot loader.

8. Remove the windows repair disk and reboot your computer.
9. Enjoy your windows

masipay will most certainly never see the messages you recently posted. The thread is 2.5 month old and follow an uninstall of Trisquel by masipay. He has not written anything on this forum since that time: https://trisquel.info/fr/users/masipay/track

@antiesnob: I see no point in reviving technical threads that have not received any message for more than one week. It is a waste of time. Not only for you but also for other users like smiley who did not pay attention to the dates and probably spent tens of minutes to come up with some help and a clear explanation of the steps to follow.

Post can be viewed by users whenever they want. To add to a dead thread works if someone's add good information on the topic. This user will not read this but there are plenty of users that will in the future if they have the same problem. So, my point on why I add to a dead thread is because of posterity.

The post made by smily is a good one and it will probably help someone.
