Hello,
I am new here.

Well, I installed Icecat by apt-get and I changed the language by downloading the language pack at ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gnuzilla/ and it worked fine. But the installed version of Icecat is quite old.

I tried using the latest version (60.3.0) through the "icecat" executable (icecat-60.3.0.en-US.gnulinux-x86_64.tar.bz2) that I downloaded at ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gnuzilla/. The problem is that wasnt possible to change the language nor add any other extension. It doesnt work like the old version instaled by apt-get. Can anyone help?

Thank you all.

Hello,

I found the solution: Enter about:config. In intl.locale.requested leave the value blank to use the language of your system. To use dictionary: Install the dictionary. In about:config, spellchecker.dictionary_path, set the value option /usr/share/hunspell.

Thank you all anyway!

How about extensions? Are you still unable to add extensions?

Extensions are ok. No changes needed.
