yes i compiled it from source
its very easy just do

./configure
make

and install anything it tells you to if its missing

Oh man can you make a video of how compile it step by step or maybe a good tutorial with captures or photos? my skills with terminal are almost useless :D i want icecat in one of my xubuntu netbooks.

It has always been in Trisquel 7's repository. And it is in Trisquel 6's too (but I do not think it was present when Trisquel 6 was released).

What's the diferences with Abrowser? im still using 6.0

Essentially it is a more security focused. Tor available at any times, Libre JS as standard plus a few changes to the configuration. Very cool project.

Yes, a new version 38.3 is now available via Trisquel repo.
One word about privacy settings version 38.x onwards. The privacy settings of the browser on the page about:preferences#privacy There are three items enabled by default under Location bar section. What do you think, whether these options weaken user privacy?
