ID'ing Hurd from Linux
My understanding was the main difference about Hurd was micro kerneling or some term like that now somehow I have a tab up about building modules for a pre-compiled kernel, http://tldp.org/LDP/lkmpg/2.6/html/x380.html .
Does this erase my Identity of Hurd at all?
PS: What the heck does this line mean from that article" Incidentally, version magics are stored in the module object in the form of a static string, starting with vermagic" VERSION MAGICS!!! That is a quality term - What the heck does it mean.
PSS: I kind of found this blog post funny: http://umumble.com/blogs/Programming/321/
I guess in relation to Trisquel ummm....who knows what you can learn from or port to?
Yeah I know if I want to ID the difference follow the discussions on the project medias and productivity environments. Just Chatting here I guess. Getting up my Track count?
