I'm trying to install the adapta gtk theme and ran into some problems, using the official ppa I cannot find the package, I'm guessing that it is for a newer version of ubuntu (not entirely sure). I tried to instead download the source, unzip to ~/.themes and ./autogen.sh but I am missing dependency

I was missing
gdk_pixbuf, found it no problem
inkscape, also found it
sassc, I cannot find. I installed ruby (saw on a forum), but this didn't solve sassc dependency.

Does anyone know how I can get adapta theme or sassc installed?

Thanks!

There is the "libsass-dev" package (and "make" and "gcc") in Trisquel's repository and these instructions to build sassc: https://github.com/sass/sassc/blob/master/docs/building/unix-instructions.md

Thank you, I went with a different theme and made all my terminal color/ icons to match it. So I'll probably keep the theme I went with.

For future reference would the "libsass-dev" package be enough or would I still have to build sassc after installing "libsass-dev"?

For the theme, I do not know. In the original you ask about installing sassc. Building sassc requires libsass-dev.
