So the only company making RISC-V boards to a desktop standard (ie Mini ITX) may be under the control of the creator of the Intel ME. A match made in hell for anyone who values privacy and security if you ask me.

If Intel wants to acquire the RISC-V board manufacturer, then let it does. Even if future RISC-V platforms are equipped with ME and Boot Guard, we can still have RISC-VI.
