Based on IBM POWER8 architecture, with all components 100% libre. However the price tag will be around $3000.

Thanks for sharing, looks awesome. I would love to get my hands on something as powerful as this. I am curious would this mean that we would need to port Trisquel over to Power8?

This page [1] lists "Ubuntu 14.04.3 (Trusty) or higher" compatible, so we might not need to do anything.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but... Can I use this machine as a desktop computer?(LibreOffice, Icecar, ...)

You could install Debian GNU/Linux, not activating the "contrib" and "non-free" repositories for the sake of your own freedoms.

Blobbed AMD furnance r9 290 as GPU? +Broadblob? 3000$ System that respect your freedom?

How they will run Libreboot+AMD? in text mode?

The only way to go, is using Kepler GPU only.
AS I can see, that project is like anothers "open-source" projects.
