Issue with Windows Locking until I right click on focused area.
So I'm a fairly new Trisquel user and had set my machine up about a month ago.
Everything worked great and ran amazing. Then with the latest kernel update 4.4.0-137-generic all the sudden my windows are locking up.
The active window still works but I can't change the active windows with the mouse or resize the active window. I can't use the minimize/exit buttons until I right click on the active window in an area where I can make a menu appear then I can seem to move the windows again for a little while until it locks up. This seems like a mouse focus type of issue but the mouse seems to work fine.
I thought I might have change a setting that caused this so I did a fresh trisquel install, updated to the latest kernel, and installed graphics drivers so I could get the appropriate screen resolution and the problem is back.
What should be my next step in diagnosing / resolving this issue ? Anyone else experience this?
Does the problem occur if you boot (from GRUB's menu) an older or a newer version of the kernel? You can try a newer version taken from jxself's APT repository for Linux-libre: https://jxself.org/linux-libre/
Thanks Magic Banana! That seems to have fixed the issue :) You are awesome!
Any recommendations on fixing those unsightly usb warnings I get at start-up during plymouth splash?
usbhid 1-1:1.2: couldn't find an input interrupt endpoint
usbhid 3-2:1.2: couldn't find an input interrupt endpoint
Not sure if this effects anything or is just an issue during boot?
