Dear all,

I am a new Trisquel user and I just wanted to introduce myself to the community and express my appreciation to everyone that made this GNU/Linux OS possible. I come from the EU and I am good at drawing and painting. Beside that I love books and nature.

I do not know whether this is of any use to the community, but in case you would find that I may contribute to maybe the graphical interface by adding my own drawings or paintings, please let me know.

Kind regards,

Orly4K

Welcome!

Trisquel repositories contain good graphical editing software, raster and vector. (e.g. gimp and inkscape)

There are also ebook readers, like fbreader. Public domain books can be found at https://gutenberg.org/

Enjoy your stay and freedom!

There is no Slovak language support for the wiki but maybe you can try and ask quidam (the main developer) in IRC at freenode #trisquel.
ciao

Welcome Orly4K

You have some basic easy to use Paint programs such as
GNU Paint
MyPaint

Install Synaptic package manager if you haven't already have
and you will find amazing software to install...

Stay tuned to your skills & hobbies, computers tend to take a lot of ones time away from reading, sports, art, cooking ect.... ...use with caution ;-)and "occasionally"would
be my most sincere recommendation.

Welcome to the community! :)

I assume that you prefer actually painting over digital painting, but in case you're interested in trying digital painting, you'll find that Trisquel has great Wacom tablet support (look at System Settings > Wacom Tablet), and that you can install the fantastic Krita painting program. Krita's more suited for painting that GIMP or Inkscape.
