Latest kernel for 32 bit Trisquel 9.02 mini
Hi to everyone!
Unfortunately this is the last life month for 32 bit Trisquel 9.02 mini and out of curiosity only I ask what is the latest kernel version in use, because I have no longer seen kernel updates for my old notebooks HP510 and ASUS Eee. I want to use Trisquel 9 mini until the last day. What a pity, it is still fantastic! I hope that GNUINOS is a worthy successor. Thank you for the attention.
I continue to build Linux-libre for 32-bit systems and have no plans to stop:

Do you want perhaps to say that I can continue to use 32 bit Trisquel 9.02 mini with Linux-libre even after the EOL of April 2023?
If you wish to. It is up to you.
As jxself wrote, you can have an up-to-date kernel installing a .deb package from his repository. Nevertheless, there are all the other packages on Trisquel 9 that will cease to be automatically updated. In particular, no correction of vulnerabilities...
You can try GNUINOS with jxself's repo for the kernel.
They released a beta; once the beta it's stable, by enabling the backports repo you may get more recent software.

Gnuinos is also using Linux-libre and following the GNU FSDG. It ships with runit, which you may not notice in your daily computing, except for a noticeably low resource usage. There has been a new ISO every other day of late, you should try the last 32-bit version: https://www.gnuinos.org/mirror/chimaera/live.
I installed 64-bit Gnuinos 4.0 Chimaera Xfce on a spare machine, and it just rocks. For an even lighter footprint, you may want to use the Openbox version, if you do not mind using a window manager instead of a full desktop environment. 32-bit system users are going to miss Trisquel's friendliness, though.
