LibrePlanet 2024 featuring Trisquel's leader
When I am writing these lines, LibrePlanet 2024 will start in a couple of hours: Saturday, May the 4th (be with you) at 10am EDT (14 UTC). That premier conference on free software is hosted by the FSF, will run for two days and every talk will be accessible live from a Web browser: https://libreplanet.org/2024/live/ and https://galene.fsf.org/group/libreplanet-neptune/ for the 100% virtual room where you can open you microphone and/or your Webcam. Here is the program: https://libreplanet.org/2024/program/
Among other great talks, Rubén Rodríguez Pérez (aka quidam) will speak about Trisquel at 2pm EDT (18 ETC): https://libreplanet.org/2024/speakers/#6655
I know, and I will be watching libreplanet.
Tomorrow I will do a talk "Gaming on a Talos II: How I avoid using Steam"
I did not thing about its Debian roots, only Ubuntu.
The Trisquel 20th anniversary cake was very good! (It was actually 4 different cakes, all vegan, providing choices for people.) I ate a slice of the one that had the rainbow sprinkles on it.
I like the subtleness of your story telling
Bernie took a picture of the cakes. He also got picture of Rubén. I like the first one on the left showing "young and old".
I still believe in Trisquel's celtic propaganda. That is setting it apart from something like... Toystory. :)
I missed it! :(
Are there recordings somewhere?
Greetings,I saw some libreplanet videos were published... any luck with Ruben's presentation?
"While all talks were streamed as planned, some were not (fully) recorded due to a disk error. With the help of the community, we could recover some of these unrecorded sessions. Unfortunately, the following sessions are still missing or only partially recorded:
