Hello all,

I've been lurking on this forum for a few months and finally made the jump to Trisquel last week. So far I'm loving it!

I love Icecat.

In fact, since I've made the switch I've used Icecat exclusively. LibreJS is really awesome and it feels good to finally be surfing the web in a secure and ethical manner.

I've definitely lost some functionality since using Icecat, but I've been okay with it so far. That was until today when it came time to renew my VPN. I've been using BTGuard for a long time and am happy with them. They accept Bitcoin and the cost and service have been fine. But guess what? They require nonfree js in order to get site functionality. So I cannot renew.

Does anybody know of a VPN that accepts Bitcoin and is free js friendly?

Welcome!.

I think that Mullvad works with JavaScript disabled but check for yourself. They support OpenVPN but they also offer an ad-hoc client that appears to be proprietary.

There is a link to the source code of the client on the main page. It seems to be written in python and licensed under GPLv2+.
