Hi. Currently running Trisquel on all my systems at the moment. In Synaptic, I noticed that KDE, XFCE, and even Enlightenment were available, but not Mate. Are there any plans to add Mate to the repositories?

Are you offering to take on maintaining it?

Any good tutorials on how to do so? I am not familiar with building packages, let alone coding software.

Debian's New Maintainer Guide is what you only need!

Thanks so much. I'll definitely be reading it over the next few days. :)

You want to help so I pointed you to the right direction!
Most often other users are only complaining about some packages not
being available and are lazy to do anything about it.

Have good times and be calm and polite even if somethings don't go the
way they are supposed to.
Everyone is here to help!
