Microsoft Research prompt pop ups when I open Liferea

A prompt titled "Authentication" with the message below opens when I start Liferea.

> Enter the username and password for "Microsoft Research" ([microsoft.com url]):

I downloaded the source and did a grep search for microsoft.com and did not get any results.

I also opened the program and it doesn't say anything about a survey.

I do not see your attachment. Sounds weird.

It could be from a feed that was added. Unfortunately the OP hasn't provided enough information.

"Capture of the prompt" sounds like a fine classical marine painting.

Thanks, eric23 for checking the source code, and thanks jxself - I did not think it could come from a feed.

Looks like the "capture of the prompt" I had attached to my email did not make it through - the capture of the ambush did though.

The picture of the ship was probably sent directly through the website and not email.

Correct. I would not risk sending the last remaining proof of the capture through uncharted routes.
