More XFCE problems
Well, the title might make you thing someone think I dislike xfce, but that is not the case. I just want to install it on a T8.0/flidas machine.
When marking for installation in Synaptic, I get an error message regarding dependencies. I cannot figure out what the actual problem is...

Click on the "Custom Filters" button in the lower-left corner of the Synaptic window and then on "Broken" (above). The broken packages will be listed. There should be none. If there are some, try Edit/Fix Broken Packages.
But it may just be that Xfce cannot be installed on Trisquel 8: some packages were not built yet...
Thanks. There are no broken packages. I'll try to get T7.0 to work
Not just xfce, gnome and many other packages is broken by default in trisquel 8.0, because fildas repository is not complete, so you should download missing packages manually , some times you should download more than 20 packages( I hope Trisquel team will fix this problem )
Yeah, I get the point: Stick to Belenos! And I will.
I suppose that Uruk has the same problems since it is based on Flidas?
When flidas repository will complete? When uruk 2.0 will come with xfce4? I am waiting but needed quickly.
>I am waiting but needed quickly.
Well, apparently is good news. I heard from alimiracle and hayder via mail and apparently they both decided to quit their regular jobs and seclude themselves in a basement so you can have it quickly. Expect it released this Monday, morning, early morning.
Oh Monday, I am present.
Monday, Monday, can't trust that day
Monday, Monday, sometimes it just turns out that way
Oh Monday mornin' you gave me no warnin' of what was to be
Oh Monday, Monday, how could you leave and not take me
