My GPG/Enigmail is completely broken.
Today I found myself unable to decrypt any of my mail. Icedove says there is no matching keys. But it's key manager shows my keys being right there. I figure I must have broken something so in the CLI I make new keys and import them into Icedove and have a friend email with it encrypted with my new key. Same result. WTF?
Instead of the CLI I go back to basics and try to make a new key pair with the easy Enigmail setup. But then I get stuck in a loop, it won't let me continue without making a revocation cert, but it says it needs a password, but gives me no place to type any password.
Sooo...what the hell have I done?

I have duplicated this error, with Enigmail from the trisquel
repositories and the mozilla addons.
Seahorse also does not opens the generating key window after providing
passphrase for generating new key, but the new key has been generated
once you close and open the seahorse program again.
Gpa has also failed to create a new key, failing with error related to
GPGME library
Well I'm glad it's not just me, I guess.
I am going to check whether problem persists with gnupg compiled from source
Did it work?
Does anyone have any new information on this? It's kind of a big risky problem.
I can't even decrypt emails I send to myself.
