Is there a way to view Google Street-view without adobe flash player?
I keep getting message:
"To use street view, you need Adobe Flash Player version 10 or newer.
Get the latest Flash Player."

You can see with WebGL. The Google Maps has "MapsGL" option at the bottom left.

Works with Firefox/Abrowser 8+. More info here.

What Web browser are you using? As icarolongo wrote, it works like a charm with Trisquel's default browser Abrowser.

Did you try to use gnash instead of MapsGL?

Older Intel video cards (<~ GMA 3150) won't work as stated in their hardware requirements.

It work but only with a tweak. You need to enable OpenGL 2.0 using driconf (don't remember the setting changed but I know that it was on from the last tab). After that it will enable WebGL support for this GPU (after you enable it on Abrowser as well), but don't except good performance, neither anything visible on some WebGL pages, but at least it works :D

WebGL is somehow disabled (I have an nVidia 9800GT and I had the same issue), the way to force it to work is by doing this on any Firefox-based browser (Abrowser for example).

1 - Type on the address bar about:config

2 - Search for webgl on the search bar

3 - Double-click on webgl.force-enabled (for switching it to true)

There are some performances insues in my case. Don't now if it is because of the Abrowser/Firefox integration of WebGl, because of the nouveau drivers (maybe when mesa 9.0 is out on trisquel), or even if it is simply because it misses some packages somewhere, but it works and this is what the people want :D

PS: If you want you can test this amazing website that uses WebGL (I found it on the Chrome WebGL Experiments webpage) http://do.adive.in/music/

webgl.force-enabled was false. Set it true. But, still mapsgl did not work. neither did adive.in.
gnash plugin was disabled, i enabled it. But, could not view streetview.

There was also an error in terminal
"Mesa 7.11 implementation error: unexpected format in _mesa_choose_tex_format()
Please report at bugs.freedesktop.org
Mesa 7.11 implementation error: unexpected MESA_FORMAT for renderbuffer
Please report at bugs.freedesktop.org"

I guess my system does not qualify. I dont have any radeon or nvidia cards. Mines a more than decade old pc, with 82845G/GL[Brookdale-G]/GE Chipset Integrated Graphics Device.

Would view it when i get a new system or on someone else machine.
I rather not disturb it anymore, might increase the small intermitent hangs it gets.

Thanks all for helping.

Amazing!!
Thank you. Very good for computers without 3D acceleration.
