Read it here: http://dasublogbyprashanth.blogspot.com/2011/01/review-trisquel-401-lts-taranis.html

Unfortunately, the review has some factual errors, and the reviewer doesn't care about free software (he chooses Skype over his freedom, for example).

A problem that is still present: http://trisquel.info/en/forum/repo-problem-again

I search for Chromium in Synaptic and it's not in the repos at all.

There is a package called "chromium-bsu", but it's not the browser. Apparently, it's some type of game. The description says:

Chromium is a top down fast paced high action scrolling space shooter.

In this game you are the captain of the cargo ship Chromium B.S.U., and
responsible for delivering supplies to the troops on the front line.
Your ship has a small fleet of robotic fighters which you control from
the relative safety of the Chromium vessel.

It was in Add/Remove Applications, not Synaptic, but I just looked again and it's no longer there.

It does appear in a clean installation of Taranis. See the screenshot:

Does it also appear in a freshly booted Slaine?

I'll add that as a bug in another thread.

I think the Youtube problem encountered is Gnash reporting errors the first time you access Youtube. Thereafter, Youtube works fine.
