New Trisquel gift shop
Our long awaited gift store is now open! You can get Trisquel branded
t-shirts, mugs, laptop sleeves and many more, helping the project with
7 € on every item you buy. You can read more about the store, and see
real photos from our products at http://trisquel.info/en/store, or go
directly to the shop at http://trisquel.spreadshirt.net
We will soon add new designs and products, stay tuned!
I like what I see, Quidam! Sorry again for my... mistake. However, 20 Euros is far too much for a mug, a baseball cap, or a spaghetti top. You may want to lower the prices for those items. Some other good things to add to the store would be handbags, messenger bags, mousepads, and buttons with a dark background. P.S.: Did you have to install Adobe Flash to design the items? Gnash doesn't work with the website's t-shirt design app.

We do not set the prices, the provider does. We just add the 7€
donation -it is in fact assigned to the designs, not the products-. So,
as their catalog has a variety of prices, some products are more
affordable than others.
As an example, the mug is not a bargain -although I've bought the one
in the photos and I love it- but the spaghetti top is in fact among the
cheapest apparel for ladies available. That's why we featured it.

We will add some new designs soon -we need to sell 10 items before we
are allowed to upload a new batch of vectorial designs- and set new
products with them. But we can only use the spreadshirt catalog, which
lacks mousepads -by now-. We will have an alternative zazzle store soon,
which will feature those and other goodies.

Sadly I did. But the actual user frontend does work without flash, so
as it doesn't require you guys to install nasty software I can
sacrifice a bit. OTOH all providers seem to work with flash backends.
This shop is a great idea. I all the same have some remarks to do.
The first one is that GNU/Linux (and not gnulinux) should be present alongside the trisquel logo. Here in Brittany, if I was wearing a Trisquel T-shirt only with the logo, people would think I want to show I am Breton, not that I am a Trisquel fan. And even if I was not a Breton, I think it is better to specify that Trisquel is a GNU/Linux distribution because very few people know about it (even inside GNU/Linux users).
The second one is about the price. I think 7 € on every item to help the project is too much, especially for accessories. You should at least lower it on the accessories. And why is there a difference on the prices of the T-shirts?
I find the delivery costs really fine for France. It is also great to be able to pay by bank transfer.

We wanted to include the name bit in more places (although our logo
goes with "gnulinux", being the gnu part in bold typeface), but there is
a technical limitation regarding the smallest lines you can draw in a
design. They use a plotter-cut plastic sheet, so very small or thin
pieces would break. That means we can only use the full logo in big
printings like the one in the glow-in-the-dark shirt. For smaller
images we have to go simpler.
But don't worry, we will add several new designs soon.

We used the GNOME store as a reference and we have similar prices. But
in any case we are still learning this whole shop thing, so we can make
changes following your suggestions.
But don't forget this is all about fundraising anyway, so you can't
expect our gear to be as cheap as an equivalent in a local store.
> You should at least lower it on the accessories. And why

The prices come from the provider catalog, not from us. The shirts are
different in materials and in available colors. If you prefer a
different product you can check the spreadshirt catalog here:

We will build any product+design combination on demand.

I think the logo should be changed. "Trisquel GNU/Linux" would be better than "trisquelgnulinux" imho.
