Good evening to all,

An on-line campaign named #SaveTheInternet has been launched in India by Internet enthusiasts to fight for *Net Neutrality*.

This campaign is against a plan by some ISP operators charging extra money from users and companies to open apps faster, and slowing down the speeds for those who don't pay, in short.

Thank you, Sachin.

I request the support of entire Trisquel community, as Net Neutrality is a fundamental right for anyone who use Internet, irrespective of his/her nationality.

For those who are quite new to this concept, Here is a quick link[1].

I know facebook is bad for a lot of reasons, and so do twitter.[1][2]

I try to convince this to a lot of my friends. Unfortunately, without *fakebook* and *quieter* there is no other way to spread this campaign within India.

I feel Free Software Foundation needs to deploy a new campaign, on behalf of Net Neutrality.

twitter can be used in freedom: https://www.fsf.org/twitter/twitter

Just post from GNU social and inform your readers on the way to access your tweets in freedom (e.g., using Turpial or Choqok).

So is this actually a push for real net-neutrality? Or is this the sort of zillion page, Google-previewed-and-approved plan for corporate and government control of the net that was institued in the United States by the FCC under the name of net-neutrality?
