Hello Guys,

I don't know if this is the right place to write this but if I'm wrong please tell me. I created 3 deb files that are supposed to work on every debian based Distribution, but only where tested on Trisquel.

It is my first packages so please excuse the possible errors.
There is 2 things missing :
- *Replaces* that for a reason don't work with equivs
- *Symlinks* I don't know how to do it with equivs (and I also don't know yet how to create a deb package without equivs).

I hope this will be helpful for someone.

PS: I posted this on dropbox because of the size limit for attachments.

I believe you should directly contribute to Debian (where this package is missing in the first place, hence missing from Ubuntu and, in a sequence, from Trisquel). Here is the e-mail address of the Debian LibreOffice maintainers (who take care of MySpell and Hunspell as well): name at domain

I agree. If you contribute it upstream Trisquel and other distros will benefit. gNewSense 3.0 is based off Debian so we want them to also get the benefits.

Free software is good. Lets spread it around :)

I still need to find the solution for my 2 problems xD It was more a training than anything else. Just don't understand why this work is not already handled by someone to be honest.

Besides, you definitely want to read the Debian Spelling Dictionaries and Tools Policy. In particular, the last section, entitled Making your myspell/hunspell dictionaries work with lenny OpenOffice.org and Mozilla*/ice*. obviously deals with the issue we were facing.
