How can I privately read feeds?
Can Liferea be configured so that it connects through Tor?
I believe so: Tails GNU/Linux has Liferea. You may have to install and use Privoxy in combination with Tor. Liferea can access the Web through a proxy. There even is a tab just for that in Tools/Preferences.
Do you possibly know of any step by step instructions? According to these instructions [1] it is only possible to run Liferea through a SOCKS proxy through GNOME Network settings. That makes the proxy apply system wide, which is not ideal.
Thanks.

Before I wrote the message above, I searched the Web for such instructions. I have not found any. But I mat have not searched enough.
So does anyone have any idea of how to run Liferea or any other free software news aggregator program though Tor? It seems like that would be very useful.
I would use Tails for that but see if this helps -> https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/wiki/doc/TorifyHOWTO
