A problem with the wiki (or my usage of the wiki)

I have translated into Spanish the wiki page corresponding to 3.5. The problem is that if I save the page which should be for the Spanish version (http://trisquel.info/es/node/1676) it changes also the english version (http://trisquel.info/en/wiki/trisquel-35-awen-release-notes) and the other way around. Am I doing something wrong or is it an issue with the wiki? Hopefully I think I have been able to set back the english version to its original state.

Regards.

No, I think that the links have been lost in the english version (sorry!). I have the original one in english and Spanish pasted on a OpenOffice doc -for some reason the links only appear in the Spanish one-. Sorry for the mess. I enclose copy in text format of the Spanish tanslation, just in case someone knows how to fix it:

==Versiones de programas y ediciones de distribuciones=

*[http://www.fsfla.org/svnwiki/selibre/linux-libre/ Linux-libre] 2.6.31
*[http://www.gnome.org/ GNOME] 2.28
*[http://www.openoffice.org/ OpenOffice.org] 3.1.1
*Trisquel Web Browser 3.5.7
*[http://www.gimp.org/ Gimp] 2.6.8
*[http://www.x.org/wiki/ Xorg] 7.4

* Inglés (básico con extras y herramientas de escritura [1])
* Español (extras y herramientas de escritura)
* Vasco
* Catalán
* Chino (con herramientas para la introducción de caracteres)
* Francés
* Gallego
* Hindi (con herramientas para la introducción de caracteres)
* Portugués

I think the english version is already fixed (including links), but the problem of the Spanish version affecting the english one still remains...????

Those links are both the same node: #1676. I can bring it back to older
revisions. Should I move it back to the last modification by AndrewT?

As per the translation process I've given you both translator
permissions, so you can use the translate tab to do the job.

Anyone interested in maintaining the wiki or other parts of the web
should join the trisquel-devel list (where this kind of questions
belong) and request the translator or uploader permissions.

Ok, is it possible to participate in the devel-list trough web browser (not mail client)?

Regards.

No, It's just a mailing list.

Ok, I have suscribed to the devel-list. However until I get familiar with the way to use the list and the wiki, I would grateful if someone more skillful could introduce the Spanish translation quoted above. I have tried to use the "translation" tab, but again it affects the contents of the english version -I think I have been succesful in reverting to the english version again-. When I have some more time I will try to learn how to use the wiki.

Regards.

Perhaps you should also front-end it with a forum, which you are only allowed to post on by invitation.

That would be very hard to maintain, and btw the list is open for
everyone. Also, I think having a forum connected to it would lead to
unnecesary noise.

Yeah, these are all good points. I suppose it's best to let that mailing list fulfill its particular niche.
