Random Screen Freeze with Abrowser

The only application I have running is Abrowser. I have quite a few tabs open, but I am not using that much RAM.

For some reason, from time to time, the desktop just freezes. I can move my mouse but nothing responds when I click on it. I try using esc or ctrl-alt-del to regain control but nothing works. The only thing I know to do is power off the system and reboot. (I have done that a few times now. Do I need to do anything special because I didn't shut down properly?)

What can I do to try and get back control of my system when it is frozen like that? Is anybody else having the same problem with Abrowser? This is the kind of issue I would get with Windows XP!

No I don't get this kind of error. I have a 5-yr-old desktop and Trisquel GNU/Linux works well on it.

Could it be a possible hardware problem? Have you tried Trisquel GNU/Linux on other computers?

That indeed looks like a hardware problem...

When the graphical desktop freezes, you can try to log in a terminal that you obtain by pressing Ctrl+Alt+F1 (ou F2, ou... jusqu'à F6). From there you can attempt a restart of the graphical session:
$ sudo service gdm restart

Looking at the logs (e.g., using GNOME's system log viewer) may help in identifying a problem.
