I just want you all to know, that Replicant 6.0 is now supported for S2 and I just successfully installed it.

It supports wifi as well after a little tampering. I haven't had time to do this yet, though.

I have enabled support for the Tehnoetic freedom-respecting WiFi adapters (N150 and N150HGA) in Replicant 4.2.

My patches are not yet merged in the official image, but prebuilt Replicant 4.2 images with external WiFi support are available for both S2 and S3.

Fil has written better scripts to make it easier for users to connect to WiFi

And Wolfgang has recently enabled the external WiFi support in Replicant 6.0 which is not officially released either.

This is really a big step forward. Thanks for all the efforts.

I just posted a request similar to the following on replicant forum as well:

I am uncertain of exactly what and how to do. I know it's extra work in a busy time, but I would really appreciate an easier 'manual' for getting wifi to work in R6.0 on S2 and/or S3.

If there would be an easier to grasp explanation, I shall install and give feedback asap.

R6.0 it self work very well, and especially the S3 is much faster than before.

Hi!

I replied to your post on the Replicant forum, trying to explain things a little better.
If you, or anyone else, still have doubts, please ask on the same post in the Replicant forum. Asking on Trisquel.info you won't get any specific answer, as this is not the right place.
Also, please provide specific clues on *how* and *where* you need help, so that I can focus on giving you a better explanation.

Thanks for using Replicant, and keep hacking!
