He is right, Wikipedia does occastionally fall into the Appeal of Popularity logical fallacy. It is a shame as the potential for the system is so great.

To be fair I think it's an unavoidable fallacy for a system set up the way Wikipedia is. It just waited for someone to state about it.
The important thing is that people should know that Wikipedia isn't really authorative - and theydon't seemto if you ask me.
