RMS working on anonymous payment network

Hello everyone,
This isn't about the OS but still relevant to the FLOSS community. I've heard rumors that Stallman and others are working on a libre system to make anonymous payment. Something akin to bitcoin I think, but actually anonymous rather than pseudonymous. Is anyone familiar with this or have more information? Thanks.
