Security Updates
I haven't had any security updates in 2 weeks. Is there some problem with the new infrastructure?
Funny you should ask. Same situation here for Trisquel 7.
These reports would be much more useful if they contained information about
*Trisquel version
*the repositories used
I'm on Tris 6 using the Dutch mirrors and the last updates came today.
Yeah I forgot to say that I'm using us.archive.trisquel.info and both Trisquel 6 and 7.
You're right, it's just the US mirrors. It seems there are a lot of problems with the Trisquel mirrors. Maybe I should add the regular archive.trisquel.info to my sources.list, none of the mirrors are very reliable.
This is really very annoying! In the last couple of months I had to change the repositories several times.
First, I used the Spanish repos until they started to make problems. After that I started to use the French repos until they stopped to work, which forced me to switch to the US repos. And now, the US repos are causing trouble again.
What's the reason for this totally unreliable infrastructure? Shouldn't it be relatively easy to synchronize the repos properly?
I agree, it's getting pretty annoying now. I thought the US mirror would be reliable since it's run by the FSF.
Anyway, this is what I have in my sources.list now. I have both the US mirror and the main repo, the US mirror since it's closest to me and the main repo since it's reliable. This way I think it will try to download from the US mirror if the latest version of a package is there, but if not, it will download from the main repo.

Same problem here with Trisquel 7 and US repositories.

WhoIs says that 140.186.70.52 belongs to the Free Software Foundation. It returns pings OK.
As of April 25th, it seems to be working again. Thanks !
