I don't know anything about the project except of the fact that its purpose sounds very useful but I clearly will try it.
Please contribute to the project as much as you can afford.
That's great to know, I've used ShareLatex before.
And it's AGPL, which makes it even better :)
We use Google Analytics, Mixpanel and HeapAnalytics to track users' interactions with ShareLaTeX.

I wasn't thrilled by the links to Facebook, Twitter, Google+ either...
However glad to hear the code is free now.
Well, now that it's free software, we can easily remove all this stuff, right?
So I think that's no problem at all.
