I recently read how the Meta Quest 3 measures the room, in which one plays First Encounters. A depth sensor is mapping each part of the room, the information is sent to Meta Servers. This is SaaSS, so is guaranteed to spy on the user. My plan is to write an article for Mixed Reality Gaming at
https://www.gnu.org/proprietary/malware-games.html.

I also predict that it should be possible to implement a similar game that respects the users freedom, I propose the name Freedom Encounters. The game will need a POWERful computer, such as the Talos II or future Talos III. Other hardware that I have is the Valve Index and the Kinect. I guess that development of all missing features will take at least 5 years.

I now have a guess what the STM32 on the Quest3 does. (article in German)
