Stopping Trisquel 8 from Automatically Starting App Upon Connecting Device

I'm using Trisquel 8 and when I plugged in my camera to my computer, I was prompted with a message paraphrased as, "would you you like to automatically start this device with an app"?

After having enabled it, I changed my mind and want to disable it. How do I do this?

Look in your file manager's options.

I don't see anything relevant to my concern. Currently, when I connect my Camera, it automatically opens Shotwell. Temporary fix is to just uninstall Shotwell. Sucks that it seems there is no obvious way to just disable automatic opening of this app when I connect my camera.

What DE are you using ? There should be at option to set Default Applications in the system configuration. Just disable it.

I'm using the default Trisquel 8 DE which I hear is a tweaked Mate Desktop. I can't find the option, which is why I'm asking.

Try something like this then -->

Maybe from the "Removable Media" tab of the "Details" in the "System Settings".
