Is there any way to make iMacs, MacBooks and other Apple hardware run somehow cool without maxing fans?

Apple hardware gets reeaally hot using Trisquel.

Any ideas?

Mhm there are so many different variations and architectures of them. Could you be more specific?

Well I have a MacBook Pro 9,1 and a 24" iMac from 2008.
