Thinkpad X200 volume keys not working Trisquel Mini

Volume up and down don't change the volume but will unmute if computer is muted, other strange behaviour is the mute button will mute but not unmute. I have tried installing TPB and running this command as sudo:

sudo bash -c echo enable,0xffffffff > /proc/acpi/ibm/hotkey

No luck so far!

Using a Librebooted Thinkpad X200.

Sadly don't currently have an X200 on hand to test it. Is your keyboard set to the correct layout?

Yes my keyboard is the correct layout (I assume because " and @ keys are working as they should).
