Time is missing

My time is missing! Sadly, this happened after I was playing with panel properties. I unchecked "Expand." Oops... :)
How do I get time and battery and wifi and all that other stuff back? Do I have to reinstall?

That works. I guess the other question to ask is this: how do I remove additional items from the panel? When I was playing around, I added indicator plugins, but I see no remove button.
