Torrents for Trisquel 9 not working

Hi everybody,
I have tried 3 of the torrents for Trisquel 9 (2 of them for Trisquel mini), but Transmission always says:
"Requested download is not authorized for use with this tracker."
What is the problem?

It is common knowledge they don't work. Use direct download instead. I don't know why.

If we still have to directly download from the mirror servers, then what is the point of providing those torrent files?

They should be functional, of course. I don't know why they do not work. The downside is on the server, though. As long as http or ftp works, I don't see the point worrying too much. I guess they know the current state of affairs. They = Ruben.
